Today marks the initial release of my new Linux utility, Photo Importer. I wrote it because i couldn't find a Linux image management utility whose import functions didn't require manual intervention. Photo Importer's goal is to provide reliable, hands-off import of media from digital cameras for Linux and the GNOME desktop.
