Some excerpts from this book review by Richard Lewontin have been quoted in various places by creationists, resulting in some claims that its statements about prior committment to non-supernaturalism were overstated or taken out of context.  But a reading of the entire article gives the impression of a man hell-bent on avoiding God as an explanation for anything.
