God and tsunamis

The link below is an excellent exposition by John Piper of the orthodox Christian perspective on the problem of evil and suffering in the light of the recent tsunami in SE Asia.  Piper combines compassion for the victims and those struggling to understand the tragedy with a reliance on God as revealed in Scripture to provide answers.  For text resources explaining the same concepts, see the following pages on Piper's "Desiring God" site:

Have you read Piper's "Don't waste your life"? I've read some, and watched DVD talk of it. I thought it was challenging and helpful! Interestingly the DVD talk was at the end of 2003 just after big earthquake (iran?). So also relevant to Tsunami issues.

I should have also mentioned

I should have also mentioned that you can read that book online too:

Have you read much of Piper's stuff at all?
